Manoas is situated just 2KM up a scenic mountain road (4×4 necessary) from the town of Uvita, and most notably the Marino Ballena National Park. In Uvita you will find numerous restaurants, grocery stores, banks, a weekly farmers market and more. If there’s anything you might need, chances are you can find it here.

If you’re looking for adventure, there are many different activities to choose from that will keep your adrenaline pumping! From great surfing or paddle boarding the mangroves, to white water rafting or waterfall hikes with great areas to swim and cliff dive! You can even take an ATV over the mountains and see one of the largest waterfalls in the Osa Peninsula!

If you are interested in seeing Corcovado National Park (one of the most bio-diverse locations on the planet!), Uvita is just a beautiful 2 hour boatride from Corcovado. There are numerous boats that operate tours to Corcovado for a guided hike and meals/snacks throughout the day. A quick ride down the mountain from Manoas, and you’re on your way!
