Las Nubes - Natural Energy Resort

Las Nubes  (lit. ‘In the clouds’) is a natural energy resort on the rim of a mountain on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, closeby Matapalo beach and 18 miles from the Manuel Antonio National Park.
Las Nubes welcomes individuals, families, couples and groups seeking a remote, private and isolated destination.

Only 9 years ago Filip D'hulster, owner and chef de cuisine of Las Nubes, was still working for 80 hours a week in the kitchen of his hotel restaurant in Bruges, Belgium. Until he figured out it really was time to find a more fulfilling and salutary way of life. Stijn De Witte, a self made architect, inventor and famous Brussels nightlife entrepreneur in the roaring 70ties and 80ties, became the co-creator of the concept.
Out of a wayward mix of ambition, love for elegance, the necessity of sustainability, bio-logic and positivity, Las Nubes grew to what it is today:
A meeting place for positive and conscious people who are looking for new ways of being, doing and thinking. Next to being a wonderfully quiet and relaxed place Las Nubes also wants to be a platform where likeminded people get in touch through music, dance, art, adventure, a good conversation, great food and fine wine. It’s what we call “Moving on from living the good life to living a better life”
